Smile Makeover with Dental Implant & Crown

Patient Story

Patient Concern

Jasmin from Canada visited Dr. Santosh Mishra with concerns related to her front tooth that was affecting both the appearance and comfort of her smile. On evaluation, it was found that one of her upper incisors had underlying root canal treatment (RCT) complications along with infection, requiring careful management before moving ahead with smile restoration. Jasmin was looking for a long-term solution that could restore the function, appearance and confidence associated with her natural smile.

Treatment

Treatment Performed

The treatment was completed in carefully planned stages to ensure a successful and long-lasting smile restoration. The first step involved addressing the existing root canal treatment (RCT) complications and managing the infection to create a healthy foundation for further treatment. Once the area healed and was ready, a dental implant was placed to provide a stable support system for the replacement tooth. After an appropriate healing period of approximately six months, the final crown was placed. A customised tooth-coloured crown was designed to match the natural shape, shade & alignment of the surrounding teeth, completing the patient's implant-supported smile restoration with a natural and functional result.

Outcome

The complete smile makeover was successfully achieved with a natural-looking implant-supported crown. The patient regained proper tooth function, improved smile aesthetics and renewed confidence. After completing the treatment journey, the patient was able to enjoy a stable and aesthetically pleasing smile that blended seamlessly with her natural teeth.
